Sabah Steel Engineering Works (SSEW) is proud to announce its ongoing collaboration with Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM), led by Dr. Noraini Ruslan, and EnviroFusionWorld Sdn Bhd, represented by Mr. Mohd Fadzli Mohamed. This partnership is focused on advancing a groundbreaking environmental management and sustainability project, specifically targeted at improving oil palm sustainability in Malaysia.
Between the 19th and 23rd of September, a comprehensive site visit was conducted to explore SSEW’s cutting-edge technology and equipment that will support the implementation of this project. Our state-of-the-art systems, including the patented Bio-Solids POMESS Series, were showcased to demonstrate how they align with sustainable practices within the oil palm industry, focusing on efficient waste management and energy recovery solutions.
As part of our broader commitment to sustainability, SSEW offers a unique service to host research collaborations, particularly in Sabah, where oil palm research is a key focus. Our infrastructure and expertise provide a solid foundation for academic institutions, industry leaders, and research organizations looking to conduct field studies, develop sustainable practices, or explore new technologies within the oil palm sector.
This collaboration with UTHM and EnviroFusionWorld further cements SSEW’s role as a leader in providing innovative environmental solutions for the oil palm industry.
